About this product

The Dama throw takes its name from la dama, the Italian game of draughts. The checkerboard pattern is woven in two shades of brown: squares of warm tobacco brown alternate with lighter, sand-coloured squares. The diagonal weave gives every square a fine texture, and cream fringes finish it off. A timeless colour that looks lovely with leather, dark wood and natural tones.

At 130 × 175 cm it is large enough to curl up under on the sofa, and folded over an armchair or the foot of your bed the checkerboard really comes into its own. Pair it with the Fishbone cushion set in light brown, or choose the Sirmione cushion in camel.

Woven at the Manifattura Lombarda mill near Milan, where throws and home textiles have been made since 1962. The wool blend (20% wool, 50% acrylic, 25% polyester, 5% other fibres) is the same as in our Fishbone throws: it feels soft, keeps its shape and can simply be machine washed at 40 °C.
